CareTech is recruiting a Support Worker to join our service in Aldershot, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs. You will deliver person-centred support, assist with daily living skills, and promote independence within individual care plans.

No experience? Full training and a structured induction programme are provided, with shifts including evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins for a rewarding, long-term career.

About the Service

Littlefields Littlefields has 3 service users with learning disabilities, mental health and challenging behaviours. All service users require support with:

• managing money, shopping, cooking, cleaning, medical appointments etc, managing correspondence, exploring leisure and work activities and accessing the community etc.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required
• Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing
• Support activities, appointments, and community access
• Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team
• No previous experience? No problem! If you have the passion, we'll provide full training and a structured induction programme.
• Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins

Qualities sought

We are seeking people who are caring, patient, and respectful, with a positive and resilient approach. You should be confident working independently and within a team, have good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities, and be flexible and reliable.

Requirements

• Willingness to work towards Level 2 QCF (Social Care Wales registration)
• Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis
• Drivers desirable but not essential
