Avenues Group in Tonbridge is hiring a Support Worker to help adults with Down syndrome and autism live active, independent lives. You’ll join a friendly team and provide compassionate, person-centred support across daily living tasks.

No experience needed with funded training and progression opportunities; flexible full-time or part-time roles; pro rata salary offered and a strong benefits package including DBS, pension, and wellbeing support.

Responsibilities

• Support people to live as independently as possible and achieve their personal goals
• Encourage participation in hobbies, activities and community life
• Help people build and maintain relationships with family and friends
• Assist with cooking, shopping, household tasks and managing finances
• Provide dignified, person-centred personal care where required
• Celebrate achievements and help create meaningful experiences every day
