Job summary

Dimensions in Willingham, Cambridge is hiring a Support Worker to provide daily living support for autistic people and individuals with learning disabilities. You will assist with personal care, medication, and developing life skills in a person-centred setting.

No prior experience is required; training will be provided. A full UK manual driving licence with access to a car is essential due to the rural location. Shifts include early/late, weekends, and at least one sleep-in per week.

Qualifications

• Willing to learn new skills, including clinical and specialist training.
• Confident using basic IT for recording and communication.

Responsibilities

• Support five autistic people and people with learning disabilities in Willingham, Cambridge.
• Provide day-to-day support with routines such as personal care, medication, and specialist needs.
• Help people develop practical life skills like cooking, managing their home, and making choices about how they spend time.
• Work in a person-centred way, encouraging independence and creating opportunities for new experiences.
