Job summary

Making Space Charity is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist adults across six supported housing services in the Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre area. You will support tenants to maintain their tenancy and promote independent living, with duties spanning medication support, community access, domestic tasks and daily routines.

Flexibility is required for a 7-day rota, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Patience and a sense of humour are key qualities.
• No specific qualifications or prior industry experience required; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals to maintain tenancy and live more independently.
• Assist with medication, accessing the community, cleaning, cooking and domestic tasks.
• Work across six supported housing services on a rota, including evenings and weekends.
