Job summary

Real Life Options is seeking caring support workers to assist individuals with autisum, learning disabilities and complex needs in their own homes near Ilkeston. You will follow daily plans, help with finances, domestic tasks and medication administration to enable greater independence.

Role includes personal care, meal planning, and helping residents maintain relationships and explore activities in the local community. A rota includes weekends and bank holidays, with enhanced DBS required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with service users, families and colleagues.
• Reliable and compassionate individual able to work in home-based settings.
• Willingness to assist with personal care and daily living tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to individuals in their own homes to promote independence.
• Follow daily planners, assist with budgeting and domestic tasks.
• Assist with medication administration and meal planning.
• Support social inclusion and community participation.
• Work on a rota including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
