Job summary

Agincare is seeking Support Workers to join our team in Rainham, Rochester and Gillingham in Kent. You’ll support young individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health and complex needs with compassionate, person-centered care across multiple services.

You will encourage independence, assist with daily living activities, personal care, meals and budgeting, and communicate using each person’s preferred method.

Qualifications

• Requirements include: 12 months right to work and 12 months experience in support work.
• Full valid UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging people to participate in communities and promote independence.
• Support activities of daily living including social activities, personal care, routines, meals, budgeting.
• Communicating using individuals' preferred methods.
• Engaging to enhance quality of life and motivation.
• Specialising in positive behavioural support as needed.
• Recording accurate health and circumstance changes in records.
