Job summary

Voyage Care is looking for an experienced Support Worker to join our supported living service in Lowestoft, helping people with complex needs live more independent lives. You’ll know what matters to the individual and help them make choices, build confidence and achieve goals.

The role involves personal care, supporting routines, community activities and following Positive Behaviour Support plans. You’ll work with people with mental health conditions, autism or distress in a rewarding

Qualifications

• You will have prior experience as a Support Worker.
• Ability to build trust through patience and consistency.
• Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support people to get ready for their day and manage routines.
• Help develop new skills and independence.
• Take part in community activities and outings.
• Provide personal care where needed and offer reassurance.
• Support individuals with mental health conditions, autism or distress.
