Job summary

CareTech in Kings Lynn is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs. You will provide person-centred support across daily living activities and community access, working within a small service in Gayton Road.

Training and structured induction are offered to develop your care skills. The role requires flexibility to cover evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.

Qualifications

• Need to be caring, patient and respectful.
• Good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities.
• Willingness to work unsociable hours on a rota.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual plans.
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care.
• Promote independence, dignity and wellbeing.
• Support activities, appointments and community access.
• Maintain accurate records and work as part of a team.
• Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins.
