CareTech Community Services Ltd in Dursley is hiring a Support Worker to provide person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs. The role involves assisting with daily living skills, personal care, and community access, on a rota that includes evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.

The service offers comprehensive training, DBS funded by CareTech, and opportunities for progression within a large national provider.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work towards Level 2 QCF (Social Care Wales registration).
• Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis.
• Enhanced DBS required (paid for by CareTech).
• Drivers desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans.
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required.
• Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
• Support activities, appointments, and community access.
• Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team.
• Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins.
