New Chapters in Langford is seeking two full-time support workers to join a service during construction at Weston-super-Mare. You will support vulnerable adults with autism, learning disabilities, epilepsy and challenging behaviours as part of a small team.

A driving licence and prior experience in a supported living setting are essential, along with the ability to assist with personal care and maintain dignity. Join a caring team and contribute to positive outcomes.

Formación

• Driving licence is essential.
• Experience as a support worker in a supported living setting is essential.
• Ability to work with people who have mental health concerns, learning disabilities or challenging behaviour.

Responsabilidades

• Encourage the people we support to participate in activities of their choice.
• Coordinate scheduled activities using personalised rotas and attend appointments.
• Assist with personal care, maintaining dignity and privacy.
• Implement behaviour management strategies when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Update records and help develop care plans.
