Job summary

Dignus Group is recruiting a Support Worker to assist adults with complex needs in living independently and achieving personal goals. You will follow individual care plans to provide person-centred support.

This role offers paid training, development pathways, 28 days holiday, pension and wellbeing benefits. You will work 37.5 hours across a 7-day rota, including days and nights to cover a 24/7 service.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting vulnerable adults or people with complex needs.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Flexibility to work across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support with daily living tasks including cooking, cleaning and shopping.
• Encourage development of life skills and confidence.
• Assist access to community activities and appointments.
• Promote choice, independence and informed decisions.
• Maintain tenancy and home environment.
• Complete accurate daily records and reports.
• Work with social workers, families and wider networks.
• Support transitions between services.
• Respond calmly to incidents and emergencies.
