Job summary
Dignus Group is recruiting a Support Worker to help adults with complex needs live more independently and achieve personal goals. You will work within a person-centred care plan, supporting daily living tasks and community engagement in a fast-paced environment.
The role emphasizes compassionate care, strong communication, and flexibility to cover 24/7 shifts. Training is provided with funded apprenticeships and progression pathways available.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting vulnerable adults or people with complex needs.
- Caring, calm and person-centred approach.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Flexibility to work across shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred support to help individuals gain independence and achieve goals.
- Assist with daily living tasks (cooking, cleaning, shopping).
- Help individuals access community activities and appointments.
- Encourage choice, independence and informed decisions.
- Support tenancy upkeep and home environment.
- Complete accurate daily records and reports.
- Coordinate with social workers, families and wider support networks.
- Support transitions between services and admissions.
- Respond calmly to incidents and emergencies.
