Job summary

MacIntyre is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help five adults with learning disabilities and/or epilepsy live life on their own terms. You’ll assist with everyday tasks, promote activity and independence, and join people in a range of activities—from outdoor trips to quiet home moments.

No two days are the same: you’ll learn what makes each person tick, build trust, and be a steady, dependable presence. A manual driving licence is required to drive service vehicles.

Qualifications

• Must have the right attitude, good customer service skills, and be willing to learn.
• You must be a driver with a manual licence, as you will be driving service vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Support with everyday tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and life admin.
• Help people stay healthy, active, and independent.
• Be alongside people while they do activities they enjoy.
• Build trust, be supportive, and a reliable presence.

• Be a familiar face people can count on.
