Job summary

MacIntyre is looking for a dedicated Support Worker to help seven individuals with learning disabilities live fulfilling lives in their own home in Westoning. No prior experience is required, just the right values, warmth and a willingness to learn.

The role includes a 37.5-hour week on a rota, with weekends and bank holidays, and requires a manual driving licence. You’ll be driving service vehicles and supporting daily routines with creativity and compassion.

Qualifications

• Experience isn’t necessary. If you share our values, are warm, friendly and willing to learn, you’re likely to be a great fit.
• You must be a driver with a manual licence, as you will be driving service vehicles, also confident in driving an 8 seater vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Support seven people with learning disabilities in their own home.
• Create a relaxed and happy atmosphere with plenty of laughter and fun.
• Drive service vehicles, including an 8-seater, with a manual licence.
• Help plan and participate in activities at home, in the community and at MacIntyre's Learning Centre in Ampthill.
