Job summary

MacIntyre is recruiting part-time Support Workers to help Sam—an energetic late-20s individual—live life to the fullest. No prior care experience is required as full training is provided. A full UK manual driving licence is essential to support Sam in activities and local outings.

You’ll join a brand-new team focused on person-centred support, building Sam’s independence, confidence, and engagement in his hobbies and community. Training and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• No experience needed – full training provided.
• Driving licence is essential.
• Warm, friendly and willing to learn is welcome.
• Specialist service with focus on psychology or supporting people with learning difficulties is possible interest.

Responsibilities

• Support Sam with daily living activities, routines and interests.
• Assist with medications and finances as needed.
• Help Sam attend hobbies, groups and community activities.
• Provide safe, person-centered support at Sam's pace and build independence.
