Job summary

Prosperity Care & Wellbeing is seeking a compassionate Support Worker - Driver to assist a young man in his 20s who uses an AAC device to communicate. You will help with daily living, mobility, and community access, while driving his adapted vehicle.

This role requires a full UK driving licence and a confident driver. The position is 45 hours per week with shifts across early and late patterns, offering valuable training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK driving licence.
• Able to drive the individual's adapted vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care with dignity and respect
• Moving and handling support
• Assisting with daily living activities
• Encouraging independence and choice
• Supporting communication using an AAC device
• Accompanying to college, appointments, and social activities
• Following care plans and maintaining accurate records
• Building a positive and trusting relationship
• Must be a confident driver and willing to drive the individual's adapted vehicle
