Job summary

Prosperity Care & Wellbeing Ltd is seeking a dedicated Support Worker with a valid UK driving licence to support a young man with complex needs in Cheltenham. The role involves daily living support, personal care, mobility, and accompanying him to college and activities.

You will work 45 hours per week on a 7am–3pm / 3pm–10pm / 7am–10pm shift pattern. You will be required to provide compassionate care, follow care plans, and maintain detailed records.

Qualifications

We are looking for a caring, patient, and reliable Support Worker.
Experience is desirable; full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Providing personal care with dignity and respect
Supporting with moving and handling
Assisting with daily living activities
Encouraging independence and choice
Supporting communication using an AAC device
Accompanying him to college, appointments, and social activities
Following care plans and maintaining accurate records
Building a positive and trusting relationship
Must hold a full UK driving licence
Must be a confident driver and willing to drive the individual's adapted vehicle
