Job summary

Head First in Horsham is seeking a reliable Support Worker (Driver Essential) to assist a young male client with cerebral palsy, both at home and in the community.

You'll provide personal care, mobility support, and drive the client's automatic vehicle to outings and appointments. A full UK driving licence is essential; full training is provided. The role is permanent, with 30 contracted hours per week.

Support Worker (Driver Essential)

Location: Horsham, West Sussex

Salary : £16.78 per hour

Vacancy Type: Permanent Contract, Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm (30 Hours per Week)

We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Support Worker to join an established team supporting a young male client with cerebral palsy in Horsham.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building genuine working relationships and supporting someone to take part in the activities they enjoy, both at home and in the community.

A full UK driving licence is essential, as you'll be required to drive the client's automatic vehicle to support outings, appointments and social activities.

About the Client

• Watching football and sport
• Gaming on his PlayStation
• Meeting new people
• Going out into the community
• Spending time with others and having a chat

He uses a wheelchair when out and about but can walk short distances with support and a walking aid.

About the Role

No two days are the same. You'll support the client to live as independently as possible and take part in the activities he enjoys.

Your responsibilities will include:
