Job summary

Ad Warrior Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist a young male client with cerebral palsy in Horsham.

You will drive the client’s automatic vehicle for outings, appointments and social activities, provide personal care support, and help him participate in activities at home and in the community. The role offers a permanent contract with 30 contracted hours per week, Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Experience in care is welcome but not essential.
• Training provided.

Responsibilities

• Support with personal care.
• Assist with mobility and daily routines.
• Drive the client's automatic vehicle.
• Accompany the client to social and community activities.
• Encourage independence, choice and participation.
• Support hobbies, interests and leisure activities.

We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Support Worker to join an established team supporting a young male client with cerebral palsy in Horsham.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building genuine working relationships and supporting someone to take part in the activities they enjoy, both at home and in the community.

A full UK driving licence is essential, as you'll be required to drive the client's automatic vehicle to support outings, appointments and social activities.

About the Client

Our client is sociable and enjoys:

• Spending time with others and having a chat

He uses a wheelchair when out and about but can walk short distances with support and a walking aid.

About the Role

No two days are the same. You'll support the client to live as independently as possible and take part in the activities he enjoys.

Your responsibilities will include:
