Job summary

CareTech Wisbech is seeking a Support Worker to provide person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs. This role requires a driver and willingness to work a varied rota, including evenings and sleep-ins.

Training is provided; enhanced DBS is required and benefits include generous holiday allowance and training opportunities within a supportive team. This part-time role offers real career progression within CareTech’s supportive services.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work towards Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
• Willingness to work unsociable hours on a rota basis.
• Driver is desirable but not essential.
• Enhanced DBS required (paid for by CareTech).

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans.
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required.
• Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
• Support activities, appointments, and community access.
• Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team.
• Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins.
