Job summary

Prosperity Care and Wellbeing Ltd is seeking a Senior Support Worker to join our team in Gloucestershire. You will work 45 hours per week, with a 7am–10pm shift pattern, supporting a young man with complex physical and learning disabilities who relies on carers for daily tasks and safety.

You’ll lead by example in delivering person-centred care, supervise and mentor junior staff, assist with care plans, medication audits, safeguarding, and maintain accurate records while building trusting

Qualifications

• Supporting a young man with complex physical and learning disabilities who is non-verbal and relies on carers for daily care.
• Strong communication with families and professionals, and ability to maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example in delivering safe, compassionate, person-centred care.
• Support personal care, safeguarding oversight, care plan and medication audits.
• Provide supervision, mentoring and competency checks for other Support Workers.
