Job summary

Dimensions Ltd in Chippenham (SN14) is seeking a caring Support Worker to join our team, supporting a gentleman in his 50s with learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy, bipolar disorder and sight loss. You will work at home and in the community, help him maintain routines, manage anxiety, and build his independence with patience and understanding.

Shifts include daytime hours and occasional sleep-ins, with sleep-ins paid at £50 per shift. A full UK manual driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience is not essential; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
• Driver with a full UK manual driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Support personal care and daily activities for the gentleman.
• Meal preparation and medication administration as needed.
• Support mobility when out and about and provide reassurance.
• Follow Positive Behaviour Support guidance and build independence.
• Develop a trusting relationship and provide emotional support.
• Assist during 2:1 outings and maintain consistent, person-led support.
