Job summary

Dimensions Somerset Sev Limited in Penzance is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help a gentleman with learning disabilities and autism live a full, independent life. You’ll support him at home and in the community, with humour, patience and person-centred care.

The role covers day-to-day activities, 2:1 support, and potential sleep-ins with shifts from early morning to late evening. A full UK manual driving licence is preferred; the position is permanent with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Communication skills and ability to build trusting relationships.

Responsibilities

• Support a 64-year-old gentleman with learning disabilities and autism at home and in the community.
• Engage in activities like arcades, sports, and outings on a 2:1 basis.
• Support personal goals, independence and positive behaviour strategies.
