Job summary

United Response in Chippenham is seeking a Female Support Worker to help empower the people we support with daily routines and personal care. The role involves evening/weekend work and sleep-in shifts, with DBS checks and a driving licence required.

You will use the Nourish app to access and update care plans, and receive comprehensive training. This is a part-time position with a strong focus on empathy, resilience and adaptability.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence is required.
• Empathetic, resilient and robust with a genuine passion for supporting others.
• Experience in a Support Worker role is not essential; awareness of learning disabilities and challenging behaviour is important.

Responsibilities

• Help people with daily routines in line with personal support plans (e.g. dressing, personal care, finances, medication, appointments).
• Support with employment, volunteering and hobbies.
• Work with the Nourish digital app to access care plans; training provided.
