Job summary

Ardsley House, part of Priory Group, is located near Wakefield and offers residential support for 13 adults with a range of needs. A Support Worker is needed to join a compassionate team and help residents move forward with confidence through personalised care plans and routine tasks.

The role includes 36 hours per week across 3 shifts, with some weekend work and occasional on-call duties. We provide full training, opportunities for career progression, and a range of staff benefits.

Qualifications

Job description

Ardsley House

£13.45 per hour. Full Time – 36 Hours - 3 shifts per week, including 1 on a weekend. 1 in 4 weekends completely off.

Ardsley House has an opportunity for a Support Worker to join our team.

Ardsley House is located in East Ardsley, near Wakefield. It offers residential support for 13 males and females with a range of needs. This includes adults with a primary learning disability diagnosis, individuals with a physical disability, mental health needs and people on the autism spectrum.

What you’ll be doing

You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our residents wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents.
