Job summary

Cygnet Clynsaer in Cynghordy near Llandovery, Carmarthenshire, is hiring a full-time Support Worker to join a 24/7 residential service. Day shifts run from 8:00am to 9:00pm, typically three shifts weekly with some weekend work. No prior care experience is required as full induction and ongoing support are provided.

You will help adults with learning disabilities and complex needs to live independently and achieve their goals while ensuring safety, dignity and quality of life.

Qualifications

  • No previous care experience required; full induction and training provided.
  • Comprehensive induction and ongoing support are provided.
  • Ability to work day shifts 8:00–21:00 with some weekend work.
  • Duties include personal care and daily living activities.

We are currently looking for Support Workers to join our dedicated team at Cygnet Clynsaer, a specialist residential service set in the beautiful Welsh countryside near Llandovery, Carmarthenshire.

Please note: due to current sponsorship allocation limitations, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.

New starter bonus: £1,000 payable upon successful completion of probation. Current employees can also receive a £500 refer-a-friend bonus when their referral successfully passes probation.

Rate of Pay: £13.15 per hour, rising to £13.45 after 3 months

About The Role

This is a full-time Support Worker position working within a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week service. You will work day shifts from 8:00am to 9:00pm, typically three shifts per week, including some weekend working.
