Job summary

Cygnet is recruiting a confident Care & Support Worker to help residents at Beacon House in West Yorkshire. You will work full time (42 hours) with 12 hour day shifts, alternating weekends, on a two week rolling rota, focusing on person-centred care and enabling independence.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering person-centred care to adults with learning disabilities or autism.
• Excellent communication skills and team collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
• Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
• Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
• Assist with and report on medical & welfare needs

We are looking for a confident Care & Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding healthcare.

You’ll be working full time 42 hours a week, 12 hour shifts, including alternate weekends (4 shifts week one, three shifts week two, on a two week rolling rota), days only, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Beacon House.

Beacon House is a specialist residential service in West Yorkshire supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs and behaviours that may challenge.
