Job summary

SDR is seeking a Support Worker for a fixed-aim complex needs and epilepsy case in Worthing. You will provide person-centered support, promote independence and safety, and work with a multidisciplinary team to implement care plans and enable community access.

The role offers full induction, ongoing training, and a strong focus on dignity, respect and emotional wellbeing. Driving may be required for day shifts; full UK licence is needed.

Qualifications

• You don't need years of experience to apply. We’re looking for people who genuinely care about supporting others and are willing to learn.
• Experience supporting individuals with epilepsy is an advantage, but it is not essential.
• Driving licence required for day roles.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the individual with daily routines and developing independent living skills.
• Providing safe, appropriate support in relation to epilepsy and mental health needs, following care plans and risk assessments.
• Building a trusting relationship based on kindness, dignity and respect.
• Supporting the individual to access the community, attend appointments and enjoy activities they love.
• Encouraging choice, independence, confidence and personal achievement.
• Maintaining accurate records and following relevant care procedures.
