Job summary

Courtyard Care in Salford is seeking a compassionate Children's Support Worker to build trusting relationships with young people and support their daily routines, education, and personal development.

You will help plan activities, create a safe and nurturing home, encourage independence, and work as part of a supportive team. The role requires flexibility, including evenings and weekends, with progression toward a Level 3 Diploma.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must show kindness, patience and a genuine care for young people.
  • Excellent communication and ability to build relationships.
  • Willingness to learn and complete a Level 3 Diploma.

Position: Children's Support Worker

Location: Salford, Manchester(M7 postcode)

Hours: up to 40 hours per week

Pay: £27976 unqualified or £28496 qualified

About The Service

Number Four is a 4-bedroom home in Salford for young people with mental health needs. The home works closely with a psychologist, who supports the team to be able to offer a therapeutic environment for young people to enable them to express and manage their emotions and learn new coping skills which they can take with them to use in later life.
