Job summary

Swanton Care & Community Ltd in Walsall is seeking a Children’s Support Worker to join our residential care team. You will build trusting relationships with young people, support daily routines, education, and personal development. This role offers up to 40 hours per week, with evenings and weekends shifts.

You’ll work in a nurturing home, helping young people feel safe, valued, and inspired to reach their potential. No sponsorship.

Position: Children's Support Worker

Location: Walsall (WS4 postcode)

Hours: up to 40 hours per week

Pay: £27976 unqualified or £28496 qualified

About The Service

Bluebell House is a new 6 bedded children’s home in Walsall, which provides support for children with a learning disability and/ or physical disability.

The home has a multitude of breakout spaces, including 2 activity rooms, a sensory room and two lounge spaces for if the children choose to have time alone. All bedrooms have en-suits and bedrooms will be personalised and decorated with the children’s voice being the centre on these decisions, upon admission.

Our aim is to ensure the children we will support will have their voice heard and acted upon, to enable them to live their best potential and outcomes.
