Job summary

Accomplish is recruiting a Support Worker for Cardiff Supported Living, offering a permanent contract and a full-time 37.5 hour week. The role provides care and support for individuals with mental health needs, autism, learning disabilities and brain injuries, with an hourly pay of £13.45–£14.15 and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will support daily routines, promote independence, assist with health care and medication, teach life skills, and help with personal care and domestic tasks.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
• Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
• Supporting and encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
• Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying to routine appointments or administering medication.
• Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills and shopping.
• Assisting with personal care as required.
• Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking.
• Providing guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
