Job summary

Keys Children in Cardiff is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist adults with Mental Health needs, Autism and Learning Disabilities in day-to-day living within Cardiff Supported Living.

You will support independence, manage personal care and healthcare needs, and help clients gain life skills through activities and outings. The role includes DBS check coverage, a robust induction, and clear progression paths.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
• Promoting independence while helping them live a fulfilling life.
• Supporting and encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
• Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying to routine appointments or administering medication.
• Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills and shopping.
• Assisting with personal care as required.
• Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking.
• Providing guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
