Job Title: Band 2 Support Worker - Café at Leverndale Hospital

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across various clinical and non-clinical roles. We provide services including acute hospital care, primary, community, and mental health services to a population of over 1.15 million, expanding to 2.2 million with regional and national services.

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm

Salary: Pro rata for part-time hours

Role Overview

We are seeking a Band 2 Support Worker to join the café team at Leverndale Hospital. The successful candidate will oversee the smooth operation of the hospital café, serving hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, and snacks to patients, visitors, and staff. Responsibilities include managing stock levels, submitting weekly orders, and maintaining a clean environment within the café. Additional duties are detailed in the job description.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must achieve the mandatory induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland.
• Adhere to the NHS Code of Conduct throughout employment.
