Job summary

Affinity Trust in Theale, Berkshire is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help two ladies with learning disabilities live independently at home. You will assist with daily activities, meals and social engagement, ensuring safety and dignity.

A full UK driving licence is required and you must be willing to drive a supported vehicle. Full training is provided, including NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care. The role is full-time (37.5 hours) with a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and willingness to drive people in a supported vehicle.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent is provided via training.

Responsibilities

• Support two ladies with learning disabilities living in their own home in Theale.
• Assist with cooking, art and crafts, meals out and socialising.
• Drive their vehicle (automatic) as needed and provide the best support possible.

Rate: £13.19 per hour (Effective as of 26th October 2026. Current rate £13.15)

Job Description

You will support 2 ladies with learning disabilities living in their own home in Theale who enjoy Cooking, Art and crafts, eating out and Socialising. They have their own vehicle so you will need to hold a Full UK Driving licence and be willing to drive their car (Automatic) and provide the best support you can.
