Shift Enhancements: A night enhancement of £1.50 per hour applies from 8pm to 7am, Monday to Sunday (excluding sleep-ins). A weekend day enhancement of £2.00 per hour is paid from 7am to 8pm on Saturday and Sunday.

About the Role: Are you based in the UK, a car driver, caring, motivated, and friendly? Do you have a passion for enabling vulnerable people to live the life they choose? If yes, we would love to hear from you.

Our service is located in Staplehurst, Kent, a rural village where we actively involve service users in the community and participate in various activities using local resources.

Experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, or similar is desirable but not essential. We provide comprehensive training and induction for all staff.

As a Support Worker with Leonard Cheshire, you will be part of a fantastic team. Your duties will include:

1. Assisting with daily tasks such as personal care, medication, and mealtimes.
2. Escorting and assisting clients within the service and at external events and appointments.
3. Supporting a Person-Centred approach to encourage independence and help achieve individual goals.
4. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.

Requirements to be successful:

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibility and creativity in working with customers and their families.
• Personal care experience is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work within rostered hours and participate in an on-call rota if needed.
