Position Details

We are looking for caring, motivated, and friendly individuals to join us as Support Workers at Sunny Bay, located on the Isle of Wight. Car drivers are preferred to facilitate transportation for our clients.

Sunny Bay supports 9 adults with physical disabilities and is rated 'Good' by CQC. Prior experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker is desirable but not essential. We provide comprehensive training and induction programs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist with daily tasks such as personal care, medication, and mealtimes.
2. Escort and support clients within the service and at external appointments and events.
3. Promote independence and support clients' individual aspirations through a Person-Centred approach.
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.

Requirements

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Valid driving license and willingness to transport clients as needed.
• Fluent English language skills.
• Flexibility and creativity in working with clients and their families.
• Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rota if required.
