Job summary
The National Autistic Society is hiring a Bank Support Worker for Kingsley House in Devon. You will support autistic adults in a 24-hour safe environment, following individual plans and daily routines.
Key duties include personal care, enabling activities, and helping build life skills. Shifts can include evenings and weekends; driving licence is preferred/essential. DBS checks are required for safeguarding.

About the Service
At Kingsley House, Devon, we provide high quality residential and day services for autistic adults in a specialist 24-hour, safe and secure learning environment. Our emphasis is on supporting adults with complex needs to fulfil their potential by developing vocational and life skills.
About the Role
We are looking for caring and reliable Bank Support Workers. Your role is to help people live their best lives by following their support plans and daily routines.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, eating)
- Encourage activities they enjoy (swimming, hiking, arts & crafts)
What We’re Looking For
- For you to inspire others with a positive attitude towards supporting vulnerable people
- Experience with autistic people is helpful but not essential
- Personal experience or a passion for helping others is welcome
As you are a bank worker, you will be able to pick and choose the shifts that you work, and services have a mixture of hours that can include evenings and weekends.
Possession of a driving licence (minimum one year) ispreferred/essential
