Job summary

Blue Ribbon is hiring a Support Worker for our new service in Southport. This full-time role supports individuals with Autism and Learning Disabilities to live fulfilling, independent lives, with day or night shifts.

You will help people access activities, follow care plans, assist with daily living, and maintain a clean, safe environment while ensuring accurate records and safeguarding practices.

Responsibilities

• Enable people we support to access a full range of chosen activities.
• Contribute to and follow person-centred care plans.
• Assist with personal care, daily living tasks and maintaining a safe environment.
• Accurately complete key daily documentation and care records.
• Administer and record medication safely and accurately.
• Support with meal preparation, domestic duties and general tasks.
• Provide psychological, emotional and physical support to service users.
• Enable community access and assist with appointments and social activities.
• Identify concerns and contribute to safeguarding measures.
• Maintain positive relationships with family, friends and professionals.
