Job summary

Autism Initiatives is seeking a enthusiastic Support Worker to join a dynamic team. You will help autistic individuals to lead independent lives, supporting them at home and in the community.

The role involves promoting health and well-being and enabling access to activities such as swimming, walking groups, or cinema trips. We provide training, development, and DBS with progression opportunities, along with generous leave and wellbeing benefits.

39 hours per week

£26485.76 per annum based on a 39-hour working week

Who we are looking for

As a Support Worker, we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and will enjoy joining a dynamic team that encourages people with autism to enjoy an active lifestyle. Community activities could include swimming, accessing walking groups or trips to the cinema. You will also promote health and well-being and support individuals to maintain their home. The support we deliver is flexible and unique to each individual, building on their strengths and driven by their goals.

We are looking for people who share and demonstrate our values. You may have a background or understanding of supporting autistic people, but if not don’t worry, we have great training and a friendly team to support you every step of the way.
