Job summary

Blue Ribbon in Accrington is looking for a Male Support Worker to help autistic adults and those with learning disabilities live independent lives. Driving Licence required, full-time days or nights available. You will assist with personal care, daily living tasks, documentation, medications, meal prep, and community access.

Responsibilities

• Enable access to activities aligned with personal choices.
• Follow person-centred care plans to meet individual needs.
• Assist with personal care and daily living tasks.
• Complete care records, charts and incident reports accurately.
• Administer and record medication safely.
• Support meal preparation, domestic tasks and community access.
• Provide psychological, emotional and physical support.
• Report safeguarding concerns and maintain safety.
• Build positive relationships with families and professionals.
• Encourage independent living skills where possible.
• Keep training up to date to follow best practices.
