Job summary

Autism Initiatives is seeking Support Workers for the Scottish Borders Housing Support Services based in Longnewton near St Boswells. Opportunities available are full-time and part-time, with a pro rata salary of £28,664.06–£29,702.32 per year based on a 39-hour week.

You will promote health and well-being, help individuals live more independently, and contribute to person-centred care. PVG and SSSC registration or equivalent are required.

Qualifications

• Experience is not essential, but a genuine passion to make a difference to the lives of autistic people.
• PVG scheme and SSSC registration or equivalent regulatory body required.

Responsibilities

• Promote the health and well-being of the people you support and help them live as independently as possible.
• Support service users to develop skills for independent living and community participation.
