Shaw Healthcare's Orchard House in Withington, Herefordshire, is seeking a dedicated full-time or part-time Support Worker to provide compassionate care to residents in a 28-bed home. Location is The Walk, Withington, HR1 3PR; shifts include 12-hour options and flexible hours.

No prior experience required as full training and ongoing support are provided. The role focuses on person-centred care, dignity, and inclusion, working within a supportive team to maintain a safe and homely environment

Salary: £13.67

Hours: Full time or Part time available - 24, 36 or 48 - 12 hour shifts

Orchard House is a friendly traditional 28 bed care home in the village of Withington on the outskirts of Hereford, operated by Shaw healthcare in partnership with Herefordshire Council. All the places are under contract to the Council.

Job Responsibilities

As a Support Worker you will be responsible for promoting physical and emotional support to our lovely service users. The will include, but not limited to:

• Providing person-centred care in line with an individual's care plan
• Offering personal care, which includes assistance with bathing, dressing and hygiene
• Maintaining accurate documentation of care delivered, including fluid/food intake, activities and incidents
• Promoting dignity, choice and inclusion
• Working collaboratively as part of a team and supporting your colleagues in day-to-day duties
• Maintaining a safe, happy, and caring environment
