Job summary

Shaw healthcare (Group) Ltd seeks a dedicated Support Worker to provide person-centred care at Figbury Lodge in Poole. You will assist residents with daily activities, promote dignity and inclusivity, and work as part of a caring team in a dementia and residential care setting.

No prior experience is required; we value your attitude and willingness to help. Comprehensive training and ongoing support are provided to help you succeed.

Salary: £13.90 per hour

Hours: 36 hours per week

Shift Times: 3x 07:45-20:15 shifts. Includes alternative weekends.

Job Responsibilities

• As a Support Worker you will be responsible for promoting physical and emotional support to our lovely service users. The will include, but not limited to:
• Providing person-centred care in line with an individual’s care plan
• Offering personal care, which includes assistance with bathing, dressing and hygiene
• Maintaining accurate documentation of care delivered, including fluid/food intake, activities and incidents
• Promoting dignity, choice and inclusion
• Working collaboratively as part of a team and supporting your colleagues in day-to-day duties
• Maintaining a safe, happy, and caring environment
