Swanton Care & Community Ltd is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health in their community settings. You will support individuals to lead meaningful lives, with emphasis on safety, respect, and person-centered care.

We offer flexible hours, paid mileage, ongoing training, and opportunities for career development. No previous experience required; comprehensive training is provided to deliver high-quality support.

Qualificações

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• Ability to build trusting relationships with service users.
• Patience, compassion and a positive, motivational attitude.
• Willingness to pursue Level 2 Diploma or higher in Health & Social Care while working.

You’ll need…

• Willingness to work towards Level 2 Diploma or above in Health & Social Care
• Good understanding of working with individuals with a learning disability and autism
• Commitment to providing quality care and support
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, compassion and a motivational attitude at all times
• A responsible, dedicated and flexible approach to work
• Competent IT knowledge and computer skills
