Swanton Care & Community Ltd in Rochester is seeking a friendly Support Worker to help people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health lead meaningful lives in their community. You will provide practical care, encourage independence and promote wellbeing.

You’ll enjoy flexible and guaranteed hours, local work with paid mileage, access to training, and career development. All roles require eligibility to work in the UK, references and an enhanced DBS check.

Competenze

• No specific professional qualifications required; full training provided.
• Willingness to work towards Level 2 Diploma or higher in Health & Social Care.

You’ll need…

• Willingness to work towards Level 2 Diploma or above in Health & Social Care
• Good understanding of working with individuals with a learning disability and autism
• Commitment to providing quality care and support
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, compassion and a motivational attitude at all times
• A responsible, dedicated and flexible approach to work
• Competent IT knowledge and computer skills
