Job summary

Swanton Care & Community Ltd is recruiting a Support Worker in Hengoed to help people live meaningful, fulfilled lives. The role emphasises compassion, support, and building confidence within a community-based setting.

No previous care experience is required, and the team values adaptability, reliability and strong communication. A full UK driving licence is preferred, and sponsorship is not available. This is a 40-hour-per-week on-site position in Wales.

Qualifications

• You do not need previous care experience to apply.
• Some of our best Support Workers have joined us from retail, hospitality, customer service, education, warehousing, childcare, the armed forces, administration or leisure and tourism.
• If you are compassionate, reliable, positive and willing to learn, we can teach you the rest.
• The skills you gain in this role are highly transferable into careers such as nursing, social work, occupational therapy, psychology, teaching or management.
