Job summary

Prospero Health & Social Care - Cardiff is seeking attentive Support Workers to join flexible placements in Bristol, Gloucester and surrounding areas. You’ll deliver person-centred care to children, young people, families or adults, helping them stay safe, develop independence and participate in the local community.

We offer a range of shifts—full-time, part-time and flexible—paid weekly (£16-£20 per hour) with opportunities across children’s and adult services, supported by a dedicated

Qualifications

• At least one year's UK experience in health and social care.
• Experience supporting children, young people or adults.
• A compassionate, patient and reliable approach.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• An understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are preferred.

About the Support Worker role

As a Support Worker, you’ll provide person‑centred care and support to people with a range of needs. Depending on your experience and the placement, you could work with children, young people, families or adults.

Your work may involve helping someone feel safe and supported, develop their independence, take part in activities and access their local community. We’ll discuss your experience and preferences with you when considering suitable opportunities.
