Elysium Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for Bradfield House in Worthing. You’ll join a compassionate team delivering care to people with learning disabilities and complex needs, with training and development opportunities to help you grow professionally.

Shifts run from 7am to 10pm, every other weekend, in a permanent 35-hour full-time position. The role offers extensive benefits, DBS safety commitments, and strong teamwork in a supportive environment.

What you will be doing

You will join an inclusive and supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with a range of Mental Health conditions, using your knowledge and skills to help people along their recover pathway towards leading a valued and fulfilled life.

Your day-to-day will include ward rounds, analysing behaviours and adapting care accordingly with colleagues, updating patient records, and providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene.

It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve because of your involvement, knowing that you’ve made someone’s life better.

The shift pattern includes working days between the hours of 7am and 10pm, including every other weekend shift. This is permanent, 35 full-time position.

Location: 119 – 121 Heene Road, Worthing, West Sussex, BN11 4NY

Bradfield House has two lounges, and ten spaciousbedrooms with full en-suite facilities. The home also hastwo fully enclosed gardens. Bradfield House is situated inthe conservation area of Worthing, West Sussex, justa short walk to the sea front, and ü mile to WestWorthing main line train station.This seaside town with a pier and promenade enjoysan excellent range of facilities and amenities. Worthinghas direct train access to Brighton and Londonand good road links around the area.
