Job summary

Agincare is recruiting a Support Worker to assist individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health, and complex needs in Colsterworth, near Grantham. You will work with a dedicated team to enable service users to live as independently as possible within their homes and community.

The role requires enthusiasm, strong people skills, and a proactive, person-centred approach. Full-time, part-time and bank positions are available, with opportunities for training and development.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging people to participate in community activities and live as independently as possible
• Supporting Activities of Daily Living including personal care, routines, meals and budgeting
• Communicating effectively using each person’s preferred method
• Engaging with people to enhance their quality of life
• Specialising in positive behavioural support where needed
• Recording and reporting changes in health or circumstances to management
• Teamwork and initiative in a friendly, person-centred environment

We are looking for Support Worker for our Services in Colsterworth just 8 miles from Grantham

This is a unique service offering supporting living, enabling people to live as independently as possible within their own homes and local community.

Encouraging – people to play active roles in the communities in which they live, to encourage independence.

Supporting – Activities of daily Living including social activities, personal care, routines, planning and preparation of meals and budgeting.

Engaging - promoting and motivating people we support to enhance their quality of life

Specialising - supporting people who may need positive behavioural support approaches

Recording - keeping accurate records &reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management
