Job summary

Careline The Agency for Carestaff is looking for a female Support Worker to provide regular 1:1 support to a 5-year-old girl with physical and learning disabilities in Woodley, Reading. The role involves companionship and support both at home and in the local community, including walks in a specialist buggy and helping her socialise.

Hours are 2 hours per week (12pm–2pm) on Saturdays or Sundays at £14 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting children with physical and/or learning disabilities is desirable

Responsibilities

• Provide regular 1:1 support to the child.
• Offer companionship and accompany the child in home and community.
• Support socialising and leisure activities.
